Environmentalist of the Year - Transportation Award

The Environmental Council of Sacramento (ECOS) honors people and organizations yearly who work hard, inspire others, and have accomplishments that further the ECOS mission to achieve sustainability, livable communities, environmental justice, and a healthy environment for residents of the Sacramento region. On October 26. 2024. SABA was awarded the Transportation Award for making the Sacramento region a safer, cleaner, healthier, and happier place to live and work.

SABA Awarded a Grant for its Community Shop Project

Impact 100 Greater Sacramento awarded Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates a grant for its new project - Community Bike Shop - collaborating with two other nonprofits to create a youth-led community bike shop that will teach young people bicycle mechanics and repair, and business skills.
