SABA makes Sacramento a safer place to ride a bike for all kinds of trips through its work with Complete Streets, Vision Zero, bike networks, and advocating for legislation that improves bicycle infrastructure.
COMPLETE STREETS
Streets should be safe and accessible for all users. Here’s why Complete Streets are important to us.
Open Streets events are temporary closures of streets to automobile traffic that allow people to use the streets for a variety of activities including walking, biking, rolling, jogging, and socializing. These events build community and promote active transportation.
SABA has hosted Open Streets events like Riding the Boulevard and SACLovia in the Del Paso neighborhood of Sacramento and Cicladova in Rancho Cordova.
