What is the E-Bike Voucher Program?

The California E-Bike Incentive Project will provide qualified applicants with $1,750-$2,000 towards the purchase of a new e-bike. Voucher funds will be applied at the time of bike purchase through an authorized retailer.

The voucher program is administered by Pedal Ahead for the California Air Resources Board (CARB). Voucher applications will be accepted during “application windows.” The first application window opened and closed on12/18/2024. Dates for future windows are uncertain and subject to change. Check ebikeincentives.org for the most up-to-date information.

The first application window accepted 1500 applications. Applicants were allowed to fill out an application on a first come first served basis. Over 100,000 people were in the waiting line to apply. We expect demand to stay very high for this program. Join SABA’s email list to get valuable tips on how to apply.

Approved applicants may combine this voucher with rebates and incentives from other organizations. However, these funds cannot be used with other CARB programs like Clean Cars 4 All.
